How We Do Things at HuskWhen you work with Husk Signs, we provide project management services to make sure your sign gets done in a timely manner and that you are informed about progress every step of the way. Our EMC Project Process is outlined below to help clients easily understand what stage of the process they are in.
Step 1: Planning/Engineering
As outlined on our Planning for an EMC page, there are several considerations to take into account when planning for an EMC. Husk has a full-service design team ready to help you with the successful creation of your new sign and brand. Husk has years of design experience and a wealth of knowledge about the sign industry, so you can be sure you’re getting expert assistance. Husk will also do a comprehensive site survey to determine the best physical location for the sign, take accurate measurements, photograph the area, and check for electrical access points.
Step 2: Final Art/Down Payment
Once the planning process is done, Husk can get to work creating a design for your new sign. Our state of the art technology lets us recreate just about anything you can imagine, including logos and images. After the client approves the final art design, a downpayment is required to start manufacturing the sign. Husk Signs offers several flexible payment options for clients.
Step 3: Permitting
After we have everything from the client, Husk will move on to the permitting process. Most signs are required to obtain a permit from the city where the sign will be installed. This process can vary greatly by city and state, so the length of time for this step will depend on the location of the new sign. Husk Signs is the premier sign company in southwest Indiana and is highly qualified to manage the sign permitting process for you. If you are not in the southwest Indiana area, that’s not a problem for Husk! We work daily with national accounts and locations from coast to coast through our network of partners, so we can get you a permit regardless of location. For more about the permitting process, please visit our Permitting Your EMC page.
Step 4: Production
Once the permit has been obtained, Husk can begin production on your new sign. All of our signs are made using the highest quality materials in our manufacturing facility. Length of production time depends on factors like the size of the sign. Our EMC production process is 100% certified by United Laboratories (UL), so you know you are getting safe and quality products from Husk.
Step 5: Installation
When your sign is completed, it’s time for installation. Husk’s nationwide network allows us to easily install a sign whether you are around the corner or across the country. Our highly qualified staff uses specialized installation equipment to work quickly and safely. Husk provides a full warranty on all work installed, so if you have any problems with your new sign, we are happy to fix them. Husk Signs is also one of the few companies that can handle high rise sign installation and multi-location changeovers.
Step 6: Lifetime Support/Training
Husk Signs wants to make sure each customer is completely satisfied with their product, which is why we offer an incredible 100% satisfaction guarantee for each of our EMCs. Once your sign is installed, we will schedule a time to train employees to use the EMC. We also offer 24 hour, 7 day a week, live tech support for an EMC, so if you have any problems or questions, Husk will be there to help. Husk also offers marketing guidance and graphics packages to help you make the most out of your EMC.
