Learn How The Sign Process Works
When you work with Husk Signs, we provide project management services to make sure your sign gets done in a timely manner and that you are informed about progress every step of the way. Our Channel Letter and Custom Sign Project Process is outlined below to help clients easily understand what stage of the process they are in.Step 1: Planning/Engineering
There are several considerations to take into account when planning for a new sign. Husk has a full-service design team ready to help you with the successful creation of your new sign and brand. Our team has years of design experience and a wealth of knowledge about the sign industry, so you can be sure you’re getting expert assistance. Husk will also do a comprehensive site survey to determine the best physical location for the sign, take accurate measurements, photograph the area, and check for electrical access points.
Step 2: Final Art/Down Payment
Once the planning process is done, Husk can get to work creating a design for your new sign. Our state of the art technology lets us recreate just about anything you can imagine, including logos and images. After the client approves the final art design, a downpayment is required to start manufacturing the sign. Husk Signs offers several flexible payment options for clients.
Step 3: Permitting
After we have everything from the client, Husk will move on to the permitting process. All signs are required to obtain a permit from the city where the sign will be installed. This process can vary greatly by city and state, so the length of time for this step will depend on the location of the new sign. Husk Signs is the premier sign company in southwest Indiana and is highly-qualified to manage the sign permitting process for you. If you are not in the southwest Indiana area, that’s not a problem for Husk! We work daily with national accounts and locations from coast to coast through our network of partners, so we can get you a permit regardless of location. If you have more questions about how the permitting process works, please feel free to contact our team at Husk.
Step 4: Production
Once the permit has been obtained, Husk can begin production on your new sign. All of our signs are made using the highest quality materials in our manufacturing facility. Some of the features of our facility include:
