Husk Signs is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing team. Job responsibilities, skills and qualifications are listed below.
Daily activities include organizing and expediting all work for the sign assembly team, operating and maintaining machinery, actively participating in daily production in a variety of work stations, aiding the team with all needs and ensuring quality standards are met.
The Husk Family is looking for team members who enjoy goal setting, working at a quick pace to exceed expectations and want to make a difference daily. We offer flexible schedules, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm.
Hourly starting pay rate of $18 or more depending on experience and position.
The most successful team members adapt well to change, notice details, and sincerely care about others & enjoy a family-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the assembly of a variety of sign products in a fast-paced production facility
- Ability to measure, pay attention to details and follow procedures
- Basic use of power tools, equipment and other machinery
- Maintain quality control standards to ensure product meets specifications
- Keep a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain great attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
- Work closely with Team Leader and General Manager to ensure department success
Minimum Requirements:
- Constant walking, standing, and working with your hands for an entire shift

Daily activities include reading design specifications to meet our fabrication requirements. The successful team member will be able to measure, cut, shape and assemble a variety of materials such as aluminum and steel. You will also maintain tools, machinery, collaborate with designers and project managers.
The Husk Family is looking for a team member who enjoys goal setting, working at a quick pace to exceed expectations, with a high level of attention to quality and wants to make a difference daily. We offer flexible schedules, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm.

Daily activities include visiting businesses in the Tri-State area to identify exterior sign needs. This may include meeting with the end buyer or working thru sign wholesale businesses throughout the Midwest.
Husk Signs is looking for a team member who enjoys goal setting, establishing priorities, managing their own work schedule, networking and developing relationships. We offer flexible schedules, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm.
The Husk Signs Sales Executive is responsible for meeting with potential customers to understand their needs. This could include a variety of sign solutions such as digital electronic messaging centers, channel letters, monument signs, digital billboards, etc.
The most successful team members are fearless, driven and competitive. They have a systematic or are able to develop a regular routine for prospecting and following up with potential customers. They will ask good questions and make sure they have a solid depth of the problem before offering consultative solutions.
Primary responsibilities:
- Network with a variety of centers of influences to develop sources for potential customer referrals (this will include real estate agents, business developers, commercial bankers, architects, property managers non-profit organizations and a other business owners).
- Conduct site visits and collect photos of the outside of the building to bring back to the design and project management team for sign renderings and proposals.
- Ask relevant questions to better understand the customer needs prior to presenting final solutions.
- Work with our team to present the customer with a comprehensive solution to their sign needs which will include potential renderings of the concept, cost and other expenses or steps involved in the installation process.
- Secure signed documents, paperwork and deposits to collaborate with the project management, production and installation teams to ensure the fulfillment of the customer sign with minimal roadblocks.
- Stay up to date on industry and competitor trends in order to relate best to customer needs and position ourselves to close a higher rate of new business.
- Travel periodically throughout each week to develop new contacts and follow up with other opportunities.
- Meet with leadership periodically to review sales pipeline and discuss strategies for growing and effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Enthusiasm, passion, positive attitude and pride in your work.
- Demonstrated ability to work with US measuring standards.
- Good oral communication skills and ability to show a high level of professionalism and trustworthiness.
- Recognize the need to show a high sense of urgency and initiative daily.
- Self-motivated and prior experience with B2B sales and customer relationships preferred.

- Previous experience selling signs, advertising, marketing, creative or design concepts will be a plus.

Daily activities include occasionally travelling with our crew to a variety of customer business locations to ensure the safe and efficient installation of exterior signs on businesses in the Tri-State area. This will sometimes require the removal of existing signage.
Husk Signs is looking for a team member who enjoys goal setting, working at a quick pace to exceed expectations and wants to make a difference daily. We offer flexible schedules, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm.
The Husk Sign Installation Manager is responsible for coordinating the execution of all sign installation projects throughout each week. This includes connecting with customers, collaborating with staff, working with permitting agencies, quoting services and discerning the resources required to manage all activities effectively.

Primary responsibilities:
- Review jobs for the day and week with members of the Installation Team (approximate size of 3-4 staff).
- Provide estimates for Installation and Services to customers and out-of-state sign companies.
- Ability to load and unload trailers and equipment as need alongside staff.
- Prepare service ticket quotes and learn to invoice customers in our operation system.
- Prior experience with construction and concrete work will be a plus.
- Research worksite via Google Maps and be able to upload site maps and photos to show new sign placement.
- Work with utility companies to have pre-marking made prior to installing concrete footers and other electrical requirements.
- Manage communications via email, phone and text between customers and staff.
- Calculate travel time, cost of concrete footers, steel tubing/pipes and other material required for a job.
- Meet with leadership periodically to coordinate work orders and schedules.
- Manage new installation work orders and update details in the Installation Schedule Log.
- Check in with Installation Crews periodically, log progress and completion in job specific folders and email customer and team members with updates.
- Maintain truck engines, booms, welders, generators, trailers, mini excavators and other equipment by working with local repair shops.
- Work with crane, concrete, equipment rental companies and additional services by providing job specification and evaluating prices and competitive bids as needed.
